WHY DOES DELAWARE CONTINUE TO SUCCEED?
First and foremost are the laws of the State. Our State laws are the most progressive in the nation. More than 20 years ago our government officials recognized the need to develop, implement and maintain a pro-business environment in order for companies to grow and for our citizens to have good high-paying jobs.
Attorneys in Delaware work closely with the Governor and legislators to continuously adapt and revise state laws in today's changing business climate. Recently, Governor Ruth Ann Minner signed her "technology court" legislation into law, granting the Delaware Court of Chancery jurisdiction over corporate disputes involving technology and allowing the court to mediate many types of complex business disputes.
International companies have recognized how we work together to assist development of new technologies. The State of Delaware has developed relationships with many countries including Taiwan, China, Israel, Japan, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
