Since
1981, AutoPort has had a stable, experienced workforce that makes it possible
for it to handle high volumes of fleet conversions for the domestic and export
markets. Recently it completed a high-volume Federal
contract with TACOM in Warren Michigan and AMECO Division Fluor Corporation in
Greenville South Carolina where the Company has been converting 20,000 Ford
trucks to Military Police vehicles. Other high volume vehicle conversions have
been focused on light duty military vehicles, police vehicles, light and medium
duty commercial fleets including truck bodies, lift gates, compressors,
generators, voltage inverters, fluid distribution, snow plows & salt
spreaders and a variety of other conversions. AutoPort’s current customers
include GM, Ford, Daimler/Chrysler, American Honda, Suzuki and Mitsubishi along
with the large fleet companies like ARI and PHH.

Inc. is a full service automotive conversion, restyling and processing center.
The facility is situated on 102 improved acres with five manufacturing and
processing buildings totaling 130,000 sq ft under roof. The facility provides a
secured full-lighted site that is completely fenced and gated with 24-hour
guard service. Norfolk Southern rail service into the site provides easy
loading and off loading of vehicles. The current capacity is 60 rail cars per
day and the current expansion project will increase that to 90 per day. Part of
the 102 acres includes 42 acres leased from the Port of Wilmington and a
dedicated road from all properties to the Automobile berth on the Delaware
River.
