MTM LinguaSoft Receives Philadelphia 100 Award
PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 14, 2010 - At an awards ceremony and reception last night, MTM LinguaSoft received a
coveted Philadelphia 100 award as
one of the fastest growing companies in the region. The ceremony took place at
the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Pennsylvania
campus. Myriam Siftar, MTM LinguaSoft’s president and founder accepted the
award.
The Philadelphia 100 is a merit based program. Only companies that are among the fastest growing, privately-held companies are awarded the Philadelphia 100 designation. The integrity of the process and the resulting list makes the Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought awards in the region. The award is sponsored by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneur’s Forum and the Philadelphia Business Journal.
2010 is the first year that MTM LinguaSoft, which was founded in 2003, has applied for the award. The company came 53rd on the winner list with revenue growth of almost 72 percent between 2007 and 2009 – a particularly challenging economic period. Altogether, MTM LinguaSoft’s revenues have grown by over 460 percent over the past five years.
