                         U.S. and Russia Exploring Ways to be Become
                     Partners in Developing Innovative Medicines

Philadelphia, PA,- Russia is looking to develop partnerships with the U.S. to develop new medicines. How do we achieve the right policies in the U.S. and Russia to make this kind of parthership possible? This question will be explored at the Russian-American Life Science Conference in Philadelphia on June 23-24, 2011. 

On behalf of the Mid-Atlantic- Russia Business Council (MARBC) and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2011 Russian-American Life Sciences Conference. This conference will kick off the 14th Semi-Annual Russian-American Innovative Technology week, which will highlight the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and the pharmaceutical industries, and will conclude with participation in the world's largest biotechnology event: the 2011 BIO International Convention in Washington, DC. The Russian delegation will consist of representatives from the foremost Russian companies in biotechnology and related industries, as well as senior representatives from the Russian federal and local governments. 

Starting in Philadelphia, evens will include a Welcoming Ceremony and Opening Sessions at Philadelphia City Hall on June 23 and the Russian-American Life Sciences Conference at KPMG's 36th floor Convention Center on June 24. The opening sessions will include discussions of such topics as Russian-American innovation cooperation and innovation development in Russian regions.
