    Delaware Biotechnology Institute
    DBI is an interdisciplinary Research Center established in 1999. An academic unit of the University of Delaware, it is the focal point for research and education collaboration across the state, as well as an information source for state legislators and our congressional delegation. DBI is a partner with the State for Economic Development.

    Delaware Technology Park
    The Delaware Technology Park is located within walking distance to the University of Delaware, a few minutes from a major DuPont Research & Development facility. The Tech Park includes an existing 200,000 square feet of wet labs and offices.

    Business Incubator
    The Business Incubator is a new collaboration with DuPont and the Delaware Technology Park, consisting of wet labs and offices in Newark, DE for startup and larger life sciences and biotech companies.

    Fraunhofer USA
    In the mid 1990s, Germany's premier R&D organization, Fraunhofer, opened its U.S. Nanotechnology Center in Delaware. The Fraunhofer Organization focuses on commercialization of R&D, turning ideas into making money. In December 2002 Fraunhofer established its second center in Delaware, the Center for Molecular Biotechnology. Fraunhofer USA Center for Molecular Biotechnology is dedicated to forming collaborative and commerical partnerships that push the boundaries of science to help improve global health as well as maximize market opportunities.
